    One thing that made me smile tonight while looking through my pictures from this year was remembering that his ambition and enthusiasm for the yard of ale weren't matched by his talent for the event, but it never stopped him . I'm sure this year wasn't the first he didn't post a DNF (Did Not Finish) result

    i also missed him this morning and so didnt say goodbye

    was just sat with him last night laughing about the weekends activities........

    im right now and i only met him this weekend....truly a very nice bloke and i amongst others will miss him
