you can either T piece them there or, make fresh ones and put one line to the rear and T piece the front 2.

done it both ways, the 1st way so abs could of been refitted, though you will need to remove the sensors for the mot.

As it has been said, you just run a line from the rear circuit of the brake master cylinder to the rear pipes, then junk all of the front pipes.

Run a pipe to the mifddle of the bulkhead from the front circuit of the master cylinder to a splitter then run new pipes from the splitter to the front brake hoses.

    You will need...

    A splitter
    8 connectors
    A brake flairing pipe tool
    brake pipe
    Brake fluid
    Bleeding tube.

Anybody got any close up pics of this, or before during and after pics. Only ever bled and changed brake pads before and trust me I know how important they are (70mph at a roundabout in civic ef and brakes popped, not good)

I fitted an s14 master cylinder and to be honest i prefered the original, but thats with 345mm discs and GTST calipers, i wouldn't bother with it if you have standard calipers.

If you're going for bigger calipers (more pistons) then the z32 BMC is good, if not then std. is fine

In a RHD car it's behind the interior trim in the passenger quarter (to the side of the seats, between the door and the boot. It's a bloody huge steam-powered thing when you see it

Sorry to be a confused noob! But... Can someone please confirm what I require to remove to ensure that the dash light will not come on and pass through the MOT?

    Much appreciated!

Try remove all abs related fuses and relays and remove the abs ecu behind the drivers side rear panel!

ABS light should come on when ignition is switched on - a keen MOT tester will see no ABS light as bulb failure at best and ABS failure at worst. Connect ABS warning to diff oil warning lamp, dash connectors pin 5 light blue / red trace to pin 23 also light blue / red trace. Pins 1-10 are on LHS behind fuel gauge, pins 11-20 in middle and 21-30 on RHS behind temp gauge (page EL-57). When engine is started it goes out.

There is no need for front splitter to be in middle of car, rear splitter is above fuel lines next to chassis rail. Closer to the MBC is fine.

Nissan fit a 1/16" bigger MBC on cars with ABS and you are talking about another 1/16" when you remove it? All you will do is increase pedal pressure required. S13 stock MBC with ABS is the SAME size as S14 without ABS. Servos are the same for both S13 and S14 with ABS, has 205mm and 180mm diaphragms. Nissan fit a single 230mm diaphragm servo for no ABS so you may want to consider using that - source from a non ABS S13.

Take out the ABS 'ECU' hold it upright with the loom underneath and join as in the photo. Light will appear as normal.
