    Potential Hose Solutions Group Buy

Hose Solutions would like feedback from the sxoc on what Group Buy(s) you would like to see. The GB would be run on the basis of a minimum 10 interested parties.

Hose Solutions have made some suggestions but are also interested in any suggestions you lot have. Hose Solutions' suggest the offer could be open for things like -

Any Goodridge brakeline kit (Must be 10 of the same, so 10 S13/S14/Z32 conversion lines etc)

    Any SFS silicone hose kit

Any Hose Solutions braided clutch line kits

Any Hose Solutions braided oil feed with inline oil filters built in.

    Lengths of Braided Fuel Line

    Thanks for the feedback guys,

Price for the braided clutch lines for the S13 will be £13.00 including delivery.

If people want a one off clutch line like the Jap Import versions with banjo fittings, we can do them with a choice of uncoloured or various coloured hose sleeving and stainless steel banjos and bolts at £25.00 including delivery. (I just need one person to measure up if the length of the hose needs to be any different to our standard version)

Price for the S14 clutch line will be £11.00 including delivery.

Silicone hose kits would be the SFS coolant/induction/turbo for the S13 or Coolant for the S14/S15.

I'll need one for my Datsun but I'll have to let you know of its length. I'll try to get it added to my order that I sent through yesterday (email from M Thornhill)

One of our braided oil feeds with an inline filter built into it, similar to the baileys inline filters, but not as bulky.

No doesnt replace anything, just an additional measure, not totally necessary, but helpful, in preventing gummed up oil feeding into the turbo and making it go pop early

Judging on current interest I think we will run with a clutch line group buy and either a Goodridge brakeline or SFS kit group buy.

What if the filter gets blocked and prevents oil from going to the turbo at all?

Think the general idea is to clean the filter regularly as you can just screw/unscrew it - cheaper than replacing the turbo, but as I say, not 100% necessary if your running a well looked after motor, personal preference or added insurance type modification....

Anyway we are digressing from the group buy here - anyone else up for the clutch line GB, or any other suggestions before we make a final decision on it at the end of the week???

Can you give approximate costs to the Silicone engine kits for the S14/S14a?

And what are the advantages of a braided clutch line? I'm interested!

    Answers to todays questions -

-No we wont be doing a group buy on the turbo hoses, we cant afford to lower the price anymore basically.(On top of the 15% SXOC discount already)

    - Price on the coolant hose kits would be slightly lower than advertised on the website at present, but dependant on numbers...at the moment the group buy will only be on the clutch lines looking at the numbers of interested parties.

    - Benefits of any braided line are increased performance, better pedal response, longer durability, better looks, better resistance to heat and increase pressure/performance requirements etc etc etc.

Looks like the S13 clutch line is the most favourable still, I'll keep this thread going to guage numbers for another week and then come up with a definate offer for all interested parties.
