    My Sil80 Project.

It's about time I went public with my project so here you are, this thread has been simmering in the mod pod for the last 2 and a bit years, I've stripped all of the other waffle from the thread to leave my posts with piccies in them.

Not many words, but the pictures are worth 1000's of them.

In order to see the linked pictures you need to looking at the thread from www.sxoc.com, a link to the thread in .com land is here...

Rear strut brace and harness bar, and some of the 3mm plate feet to bolt the cage to.

I bought a fecking huge oil cooler a while back, some may remember, it's a 40 row beast and making it fit is a bit of a problem in any conventional way.

Obviously it needs sorting out a lot, but I'm pretty pleased that I've actually got the thing to fit at all.

Not very exciting, but latest cool thing to the ever growing pile of pile of crap waiting to be fitted.

    Reworked fuel rail...

All of the electrics inc alarm are in and tested apart from the engine loom and the alterations for the siliva front lights.
Ran the +ve cable from the battery to the front of the car where it goes into a distro box where the original +ve connectors connect up, ran the fuel lines and bolted a lot of other odds and sods on (wiper motor, washer bottle and pumps, pedals, steering column, etc).

The dash does go back in too which surpises me, thought it was going to be a proper twat to get it back in. I've taken it back out to run any other wiring such as AVCR, WI, gauges and wide band lambda.

Built the Kouki rear light loom with the help of Pete's write up.

Moved the ABS and alterered the loom to accomodate it's new position.

And a gratuitous pic of the finished oil cooler install, taking it out will be a wing off job, which means headlights and bumper too I think.

    And today's progress...

Today I've mostly been trial fitting my wastegate, installing the AVCR solenoid and making the signal hoses to connect them together.

    Finished manifold/turbo/WG setup...

Bit of barney botching, batteries went flat in camera so didn't get the finished article...

Maybe, just maybe it'll move from my garage this year - Even if it is only while we move house.

Loads more has happened since the post above, but most of it is tidying up of wiring, making things work properly - that kind of stuff, stuff that takes ages to do but looks like nothing have been achieved.

I'll take some new pics and get them posted soon.

Yeah, should be done sometime this year LOL.

In reality it just needs the cosmetic bodywork sorting now to get it on the road, and I'm hoping to make some progress on that this week.
