    S14 will live again.

I am sure some of you will remember my old project S14 from a few years ago, but if not here's a few pics.

    As it started.

    How it ended up.

I sold the car on to Rob on here a couple of years ago and I noticed one day in the for sale section he had to break it. So he kindly gave me first dibs on the shell.
I got it back and started planning what i should do with her.

It came minus engine and gearbox, interior and original wheels, so i would need a second car for parts.

    Hence.

Rather shorter than standard but all running fine.

Stripped everything including wiring loom from it and put in storage.

    Now back to the 200sx.

Fitted the skyline wiring loom and heater controls.

Also managed to get a complete interior from a 56,000 mile car which is alos going in.

    Updates to follow

Nice one! love that car, glad to see it will be great once more!

You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

And if you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem!

I followed your orriginal build and was gutted to see it broken for parts. Honestly happy to see it back in your hands and getting rebuilt to it's former glory if not better

Thanks for the possitive comments everyone

After seeing it in being broken up and spending all that time on here I had to buy it back..

    Update time.

Skyline clocks will need a bit off adjustment to fit but not to much.

There are alot of simularities in the wiring looms, colors etc so should not be to bad to do.

    Hmmmm need some bigger wheels

Also did some checking under the seam sealer in a few places all seems ok no new rust.

Time for a little update . Sorry about the pic quality.

Have been sourcing some engine parts for the RB25

New woosner pistons and GTR rods

HX35 turbo and tial wastegate. Turbo needs a overhaul.

Have also decided to do some seam welding to improve the rigidity of the chassis, all the engine bay is done and chassis rails back to tank.

Finally a pic of the skyline clocks finally mounted.

A few more pics for everyone.

Engine bay and front half off floor electrolux primed and seam sealed. Its not easy seam sealing upside down with no room .

Very happy to see this mate, i was gutted to have to break this. Did plan and start a monster build after the turbo died.. but money did start to cause a problem so it needed to go
I was very pleased when you wanted it back, I really didnt want to split the shell, hope it all goes well for you!

Shame it got stripped, looked really nice when you were done with it before.

Interested to see what else you have in store for it this time round!

    Thanks Rob,

I had to have it back after all those hours blending in the rear arches..

    Here's some more pics.

Underneath and front all stonechipped now.

All load bearing front end bolts replated.

Also asked for the front brace to be dipped at the platers but he decided to zinc plate it too. He said it could be painted over. Should not rust for a while

Thanks mate, I am not going to do a huge amount body work wise just clean everything up and rust proof as much as possible.
