Clear Indicators Both Front and Sides for S14a

Got them from Motorsport Wheels in Leeds - top blokes . They were the only place who would actually try them on the car (as long as I agreed to have them if they fitted OK). Everywhere else wanted me to sign disclaimers in case they didn't fit .

They are 8x19 ET40 offset - no spacers required.

Tyres are 235/35ZR19 Falken Gr8. Had a choice of Falkens, Yokos or ContiSports.

same here, ive just fitted my fronts for the time being (my kind of mod, looks great and takes 5 seconds to do ), ill have the side ones sorted tomorrow

Go carefully when you do the side's, we've had a bit of a mishap on one?!

Here's a way of doing the sides (courtesy of JohnW)
Trimmed just enough for the holder to fit nicely. Don't try and turn it to lock it. The 200 bulb holder sits the bulb so that it is a just fit in the Almera indicator lens.
You are not supposed to lock the holders, just push them in and then use tape/silicon sealant to make them watertight.

The SilverVision bulbs I have for the fronts don't fit the 200SX bulb holders. They are the correct bulb, it's just that the little pins on them are not in the same place as the standard ones, so they don't locate in the bulb holder. As far as I know, there aren't different types, so I'm thinking of filing one of the pins off the silvervision bulb.

Has anyone else come across this yet? If you haven't, hold fire on buying a set of SilverVision bulbs until I've had chance to try my idea, as at £15 a pair, they are expensive if they don't fit.

with regard to you SilverVision bulbs, they are the Philips bulb intended for indicators that take orange bulbs as standard and have the offset pin you talk about.

What your after is the Silvatec bulb they come in both standard pin and offset pin as well as the small bulbs that go in the side repeaters. Available from Airspeed . And do a search on silvatec.

I did manage to get the offset pin bulbs to fit, but only one way round with a bit of gentle persuasion, but I wasn't happy about it. Didn't realise you could get silver bulbs for the sides either. Bit expensive for the sides though aren't they.

Yes they are.

Haven't done the side yet, haven't convinced myself they're worth the expense. But the fronts did start to annoy me and I am well happy I did those.
