People and logic dont mix
i prefer to buy a modified example, its a pain in the arse to do it yourself,i bought mine at ten of the best, just needed a bit of cosmetic done,if i were wanting a 200sx i would deffo consider this one, beautiful car
lol been talkin bout this car all week to my mates at work..... sum people havent a notion whats sittin in front of them!!
apparently so
i would buy this in an instant if i could insure it.
Are you going to break it mate? Im in the market for an engine!
Be a million times easier to insure then a RB26 or 2JZ conversion.
I thik hed want a working engine in return if he was to break it, find a cheap worker
oh ok fair enough. ill buy a worker, then px it with this one! if he decides to go down that route! Any idea when he will know?!
You could PX the whole car and then jolly would have a much easier time selling a stock car, and you save a fortune in modification 30Ks worth to be precise.
Thats if that would be good by jolly...
Think of how much a fully built engine alone would cost let alone the turbo and ancils, Jollys engine is also at a higher spec then a step 2 APT its full of all sorts of gucci bits.

good point mate. But could i get away with getting this insured TPFT? if i said it was valued at 5k and i crashed into another car, would they pay out?
Jolly F, you have mail............
On my old car, I used to insure it TPFT as i was 23, but still declared all mods, what i would have had to do in a collision is buy it back and either transfer or sell the mods off to get the value back for it. Youll prob still be looking at a fair wack to insure, try reading the list to sky and adrian flux see if its affordable.
It will be expensive mind as it has more power and alot more torque then a fair few supercars and rarris.
I got quotes well below £1K at 24 for this car with about 4-5 years NCB if I remember correctly.
Having been taken out in this car, it is VERY VERY fast.
Jolly... have you sorted the vvt rattle (removing the chain guide if it's just on initial pull away/clutch engage), and fixed the windscreen.
I think you make too much of these little issues in your piston heads advert. I re-read it last night and you make it sound pretty negative.
Matthew
Thanks Matt, i will have a look but just wanted to be 100% honest about the car. The windscreen is still split, as i'm not insured on it i haven't got the £60 option to change it.
I will not be putting the car back to standard though.
Bass Junkie, pm me if really interested in the engine, you may well get the ball rolling on breaking the car...
how much are you asking?
wouldnt you like a slightly modded black s14a?
my m8 has a s14 shell with glass in it if you wonna come over and remove it plus £15 then its yours only j5 of m3
The price of the car is on the first page...
Thaks for the offer for the shell but the suspension and brakes are so comprehensive it really isn't worth the time to put back to standard.
in a topic you started it was said that tt supra's murder most things.what would this do to them?
have you got any vids of it running?
I don't remember saying that at all...
And its irrelavent as it depends on the spec of the other car.
I only know two other cars that keep up other than ken and jez on here and that is a porshe 911 turbo and a 600bhp corvette ZR1
no someone else said that in the topic.
and lets just say a standard tt supra
0-60 4.9
do you have the 1/4 time?
