    384 bhp/392lbft S14a...

The cars power figures with the most recent specification from 2 different rolling roads were 384 bhp / 392lbft. These are the lowest figures of the two. To give you an idea of performance once moving this car keeps up with my Yamaha R1 and on roads will easily out brake and out corner it. It has left many big bike owners mythed. The same goes for things like 911 turbos etc although there is not loads in it. E46 M3's are slow in comparison.

APT in Norwich : has recently fitted a larger 0.86 a/r turbo housing, custom actuator, SARD fuel pressure regulator and gave it a complete remap. I also had a full top end rebuild done to check everything was ok and fitted a new GReddy metal head gasket and ARP head stud kit at the same time.

The main reason I have decided to sell is due to the money, time and effort I spend and the addiction to always want more. I believe the current cost of my car with modifications and work to be in excess of £30,000. I have also just bought a house and I just can't afford two cars and my motorbike along side a mortgage.

Its has always been well looked after with no expense spared. It has had everything done to make it a very fast car built to last with attention to detail everywhere. I have owned the car for over 3 years which I bought from a member off the . Before this the car was standard with FSH. The car has 8 months MOT left on and currently stands at 78000 miles approximately. Most of the modifications on the car have done less than 10,000 with the suspension, brembo brakes, turbo and engine refresh just over 2000 miles.

Most of the parts have been fitted by myself to a very high standard but turbo, engine and mapping by APT as these are things that I feel must be done by the best specialist in the country (most SXOC members opinion), hence the 370 mile round trip each time.

There is a massive folder of history and the original Nissan folder, spare key and fob and master fob are present.

The car windscreen has a crack so it will need replacing and the VVT is making the usual noise and a replacement costs £400. All S14's and S14a's do this and after the car pulls away it is fine but initial start up sound is not pleasant, most people ignore it as replacements still end up making the same noise after a short period of time. Despite this the engine is strong and has absolutely no problems.

I have never had the heart to drift the car due to the money I have spent. I have done two half trackdays with the SXOC that showed how fast and well set up the car really was. It became my weekend car once it got past a certain point due to trips to Leicester. If I didn't need to do this I would keep it and sell my daily drive.

I would like to say this is a dangerous car, there is no traction control and it really needs to be treated with respect. I would hate to find out the car has been written off and people injured.

If I were to keep it I would respray the car with the body kit I had for it, re-polish the lips of the BBS wheels and sort out a few other bits on the car. I am very fussy and this was a main contribution to the decision of selling up as I could continue spending thousands and thousands until it was perfect.

The interior has been put back to the standard black leather interior and a few other bits have been removed from the spec. If other parts go i will adjust the spec accordingly and drop the price. Nothing to do with the chassis, engine/performance or brake system is coming off.

I am in the process of looking for a tidy and lowish mileage stage 1-2 S13 as a compromise as I really do love these cars. I know the chances of an S13 of the description is a rarity but you never know.

    £9500 ovno

Apparently not so awsome otherwise someone would have bought it. Can't justify lowering it much more but i should be finished on the house this month so will have time to break it, i don't want to though
