My new car in San Francisco

Phew, well not posted in AGES. Been a very very busy man with my new job. However a year after I moved here (nearly) I was able to buy my own car. I had been driving a rental for 9 months and then borrowing a friends car for a few months. I have the money for a 350Z or S2000 but unfortunately the insurance cost was $3600 for 6 months!! So I needed...

    a) RWD
    b) Manual box
    c) Convertible (I decided that living in California this was now a must at least once)
    d) Japanese (Cheap parts, unlike a BMW!)

I decided the only car that really fitted the bill was....

57k miles, 1.8 NA, 6 speed box, Torsen diff... enough to keep me happy for a year.

However I now need to get rid of those GOD AWFUL rims and put a super charger on it.

So I got new wheels and also threw some TEIN SS suspension on there...

Next are going to be a new diff (Kaaz 1.5 way), anti roll bars, gauges, and the most important of all!!

Insurance is so high because i've only had my US license for a month... so i'm basically treated the same as a 16 year old kid And yes, the bridge is the golden gate.

    Welcome to the splinter club

I'd love one of the FFWD Superchargers, but there aren't any UK dealers and there's the cost! One day, when I find that pot of money!
