Pete, has the crack worn off yet? have you come to your senses and realised you only decided to sell it in a drug fuelled haze, due to an elaborate practical joke gone awry and, are in fact keeping it?

Please tell me that's what's actually happened?

It's a shame you're selling this Pete, not considered just keeping it to enjoy a few shows before selling?

What you planning on getting as a replacement?

Thanks Kev I would be the happiest man alive if I get the chance to own and enjoy this car

Life is good thanks, was a struggle financially for the first few months after Ethan arrived but we're back to normal again now Mel is back to work and I'm allowed to spend again!

I'm going to be so gutted if the B4 doesn't go in time for me to take this opportunity

Yeah, fitted a brand new set of discs and pads, bled the system, seemed to sort the judder

Still a bit of a pull to one side under hard braking, I mentioned that in the ad if you read the first post

Few questions etc, sorry if they have already been asked as not got time to read the thread...

How many miles has the RB and running gear done?
    Who did the conversion?
Do you have better pictures of the rust on struts etc and any interior pictures?
What sort of mileage does it do to a tank?

    Ta

Unsure of the mileage on the RB - there is a sticker on the timing cover saying the belt was done at 102,000kms, so at least that. Before it was put in, the engine was stripped, big ends and mains were replaced with ACL race bearings, and everything was checked before being re-assembled with a new genuine Nissan engine gasket set and all new belts (inc cambelt).

The conversion and all the engine work was done by Buffy (aka Super Buff, aka Mike).

I don't have any better pictures, but I can certainly take some for you. The interior is fairly uninteresting really, imagine a standard facelift interior with some S14a cloth front seats and a boost gauge, and you've got it

It does approx. 250 miles to a tank, that's mixed driving, some open road, some town, some nailing it

The turbo boost is an odd one - it makes 14psi initially, but then tails off towards the redline down to 9/10psi. It's controlled by an ND (Forge) adjustable actuator.

We (Jez H and I) had originally assumed that it was a weak actuator, but I'm beginning to suspect that the turbo just might be too small to hold boost to the redline. This is despite the fact that it's supposed to be capable of 20+psi on a 4 cyl engine

The turbo was originally on Pointblank's car and was specced by him to be low lag and capable of 350bhp+

Makes full boost at 2700rpm and is really flying by 4k+

    Pete,

It's a shame you are selling your car - you've put so much into it!

Good luck with the sale - I hope you manage to avoid being messed around.

    Cheers,

    Ben
