    My RB25DET S13 'Sileighty'

After a lot of thought along the lines of this thread, I have decided to sell my S13 - this car is the culmination of 4 and a half years of S13 ownership. It's excellent for road, track, everyday use, just about anything you could want to use it for. The RB makes it supremely driveable, it's smooth, fast, and handles beautifully. It's not too noisy but it still sounds great

With the Silvia front and almost complete lack of badging it also draws loads of looks from people either wondering what the hell it is or just admiring

The engine is only at a very low level of tune but I estimate it's still making in excess of 300bhp; there's LOADS of potential in it. You could do whatever you want with it, strip it out and drift/track it (though this would be a shame IMO), tune it to silly amounts of power and have a VERY fast road car, etc etc. It's a totally different beast to a CA'd S13

    The Basics:
    1992 RS13 Exec in Black
    92000 miles
    MOT Dec
    Tax Sept
Complete respray in original colour April 06

    The Spec:

    ENGINE:
    RB25DET from R33 GTS25t - bottom end rebuild/refresh before fitting about 2000 miles ago.
A'PEXi Power FC mapped by Horsham Developments
    Garrett T3 turbo (4x4 Cosworth)
    Forge Motorsport adjustable actuator
Custom 3" exhaust with subtle twin tailpipes
    A'PEXi induction kit
    Hybrid FMIC Kit
Mocal 19-row oil cooler kit with thermostat
    New Halfords Mitsi Evo battery

    TRANSMISSION:
    Exedy Organic Clutch
    R33 GTS25t gearbox
    R33 GTS25t LSD
    R33 GTS25t driveshafts

    HANDLING:
    Kayaba AGX adjustable damping shocks
    AVO Chassis Dynamics springs
Whiteline castor adjustable front TC bushes
Whiteline adjustable front & rear anti-roll bars
    Nismo polyurethane steering rack bushes
    S/S steering bush replacement
    Alloy subframe locking collars
    S14 5-stud hubs

    BRAKES:
    Z32 Brake Master Cylinder
    S14 4-pot front calipers
R33 GTS twin pot rear calipers
    315mm E36 M3 Brembo front discs
    Porterfield RS-4 pads

    INTERIOR/GAUGES:
    S14a cloth front seats
Autometer 52mm 'Ultralite' 20psi boost gauge in A-pillar pod

    WHEELS/STYLING:
    R33 GT-R wheels 17x9, 245/45 rear, 225/45 front tyres
    S13 Silvia front
    De-spoilered
    Kouki rear lights

    Pics:

Those are the most recent pics I have, the bumper mounted indicator/sidelight units have now been changed for proper S13 Silvia indicators (as can be seen in the last pic), and the sidelights moved to the corner lights where they should be. I will try to wash the car this weekend and take some more comprehensive pics

Bad points (yes, there are some):
[*] Slight pull to the side (depends on camber of road) under braking, haven't been able to find the cause of this, car has had alignment recently and had all suspension/steering components at the front checked, nothing seems out of place. It's possible that one of the front calipers may have a sticky piston or two, but they all moved reasonably freely last time I changed the pads.

[*] Shell is not completely perfect anymore, slight rust on turret tops, and one sill needed minor welding at the last MOT where some fool had put a trolley jack under the sill earlier in it's life ( ). The other sill is fine, all the arches are fine, the chassis rails are fine etc etc. I would still describe the shell as very good, it's definitely one of the better ones

[*] Rear arches could do with just the lip flattening as the tyre sidewalls scrub them slightly under very hard cornering. Not a major problem though, I did a whole trackday with it like that and no damage was done. I just can't bring myself to take a hammer to the arches.

[*] FMIC is a bit wonky - it's perfectly secure, but it doesn't look quite right, probably just me being picky

And the price for all this craftmanship?

    £4750

The car is located in Bath, Somerset, you are advised to view! I can travel (within reason) to meet SERIOUSLY INTERESTED BUYERS ONLY part-way if it helps

I don't think I'm being big headed when I say that this is one of the most complete fast road S13s in the club... would like to see it go to a like minded person who can build on that further or just enjoy it as it is

Other side of the country, AA route planner says just over 3 hours.

I could meet you at Reading if that helps, that's more like 2 hours

This car is loverly in the flesh - and the RB25 with VVT is a fantastic engine upgrade for the 200sx.

    Someone buy it!!!! Nowwwww!!!

Never thought I'd see the day Pete. And what do you mean, its TOO fast?! There's no such thing!

If I had the money now, I'd take the rest of the day off work and toddle on up. But I don't have enough yet not even half! (damn house purchases!)

This is almost exactly the sort of car I would like to own soon. Good luck with the sale mate.
