looking good mate, I like the idea of the electric ancillaries to reduce the losses on the engine keep up the effort, I'm looking forward to seeing this as it gets further towards completion

things are moving again, got the vems harness nearly finished just waiting for some connectors from ebay so i can connect up some relays as im not using any nissan harness only an ignition live to switch a couple of relays supplying a fuse box making the whole thing independent

in the middle of making my own dash,[1mm ns4 aluminium very hard but lite] looking to cover it with carbon fibre

still got loads to do to it the hole in the passenger side is for the vems and the hole on the drivers side will hold temp and pressure gauges

and a few other pics of the mountain im trying to climb

sorting out the z32 conversion, oils really clean and it looks like its never been changed as the plugs where a bitch to remove and its ment to have done around 20k

    conversion plate thanks to drifter

front prop section is a standard/z32 combo

    just needs welding

done a bit more, made up the new boot out of 1mm thick ns4 aluminium which is a very hard alloy

i want it as low as possiable which means the bottom or the bumper skirt so i clamped some angle as a guide

    fab'd some pannels

    fitted floor of boot

fuel tank sits nice and low close to the diff, it needs turning 180' so the fuel pipe exits the boot on the drivers side

it just needs glue and rivets lotus style to hold it all together

So, does the plate bolt to the Z32 box then the engine?

Or, do you cut the Z32 flange off and weld that plate on?
