I'd definately get the cam sensor sorted - you'll be able to run seq injection and not wasted spark.

Good luck with the wiring, it takes ages - pay special attention to grounding and shielding sensor wires or yo'll get noisey signals and things wont work properly.

thanks for the kind words, i need to get to one of you instruction days, pity you dont do link, chose it in the end down to being diy install, got thor a couple of miles from me but not sure on there mapping skills and i know your good,
the cam syncs not a problem just dont know if it should be ''seen'' befor or after the crank signal, also i now have a Sun ls2000 scope to help me set it all up, cam, crank and abs cables are all shielded, got the sensors and cable off trigger-wheels

after much head scratching on how to make a cam sync i got hold of a PRIMERA p11 2.0 SR20DE DISTRIBUTOR and choped it up, welded on a aluminium bracket and got to this, needed to chop a hole in the fire-wall which i will box in to make it fit now i just need to decide where the trigger tooth needs to be welded for the link ecu



im thinking around 45' btdc which will be 22.5' due to a 720' cam rotation per 360' crank rotation

I could map link no probs - although I've only had a quick mess about with it, but all the theory is the same. I've not checked but the cam signal angle shouldn't matter and should be configurable in software. It'd be worth checking though.

360 deg cam = 720 crank. Not the other way around.

already have a crank sensor but im also using a cam sensor to sync cylinder 1

brain not working as im doing 7x12hr shifts on nights just getting all the wireing done over the next couple of months then go from there, do you still use Thors R/R

We've got our own rolling road all setup and running now

Not running yet as I'm working out of town. Hopefully by Christmas as its all down to wiring the ecu in and the various pumps so a good job for winter
