That manifold looks cool. Looks like it mounts lower than I expected though, is that the reason for the fuse box mods? Is the Throttle body still in the original location or has this also moved? I dont understand the thermostat propblems either![]()
the hole lot is lower down, hens the new cold pipe. the temp sensor goes in the bottom of the manny hens the thermo housing in the way![]()
the tb has droped and turned toward the wing, i could have moved the fuse box over a bit but went for max room instead, you have 2 temp sensors you need to screw into the manifold but the clash with the thermostat housing
so i have pluged them and will either drill and tap the side or fit an adapter in the hose

well you need dedication to own an sxthis past five days i have derusted and por-15 the interior, striped the rear and black wax-oiled it including the wheel arches, 5L can in a bucket of hot water and a hand spray gun does a great job, just need to get it out of my ears
fitted adjustable camber and toe arms, bolted in roll-cage [welded in support plates at the weekend]

I was looking at that mani on ebay aswell!!! Its a Jun replica... very nice! They do two versions... one with top feed injectors and ones in original position... What powerfc did you get? D-jetro?

One query about the above picture. Not sure weather in practice it will really matter though...
In the AVC-R manual it says the boost sensor should be monted with the diaphragm or what ever is in the plastic bit horizontal. So the part you fix the boost hose on points vertically downwards.
Edit: Just had another look at the picture, and it doesn't look like they are fixed in
so this might be irrelivant.

rust is killed both inside and out, still need a bit more paint inside though, fitted castor and toe arms
