    got a 200sx for christmas!

    Hi all I'm Tasha and my boyfriend recently bought a red 200sx. It was advertised in the local paper and has a few things wrong with it but he's hoping to sort them out before christmas and give me the car! yay

    I don't know much about these but its a 1991 red 200sx stage 2. He payed a bargain price of £300 because the owner wanted to get rid of it asap?

    it did have an SXOC sticker on the side window hence why I joined up and maybe some of you know the car.

    I've emailed the previous owner asking him to send me some snaps as my digital camera was left in the rain last week so pics to follow sometime soon!

    Hi this is Nigel,

    and yes that is the motor. But it's aquired a nismo sunstrip which needs to come off. There are a few problems with it, turbo blown, needs new front disc/pads and the fuel pump is dead so if any of you has any of those parts I'll have them

    Payed £300 for the car which doesnt seem too bad, considering it has 9 months MOT and 6 months road tax. He also claimed the engine was rebuilt with new big ends but had no receipts to prove it.

    I'll try and get it up and running for the misses by christmas if not then I'll see if I can break it for parts.

    It might be an idea to change the Nismo sunstrip to one that reads "I'm not CA POWER".
