Cusco Roll Cages CHEAP - now updated

Not sure why lol, but something prompted me to offer a GB on these

Here's what a 6point looks like fitted to an S14

and although it pains me to post them again, here's how a car looks after the cage has been tested

Prices - apply to ALL vehicles that Cusco offer a cage for. Prices are based on the number of fixing points of the cage, not what car it's for.

THERE IS NO MINIMUM ORDER QTY - IF YOU WANT ONE, CALL US AND ORDER IT, OR USE THE ONLINE ORDER FORM (LINK IN MY SIG)

15% deposit is all that is required! Balance due when the cages land in the UK!

    Safety 21 Steel
    4 point £210 inc vat
    5 point £280 inc vat
    6 point £380 inc vat
    7 point £445 inc vat
    8 point £510 inc vat

    Cro-Mo 30% lighter
    4 point £265 inc vat
    5 point £380 inc vat
6 point £450 inc vat- as fitted to my S14a and powder coated black
    7 point £560 inc vat
    8 point £670 inc vat
    Delivery is from £20

Sun visor clips for front bar £20 each

    Door bars:
Carbon £320 inc vat per pair
Alu £250 inc vat per pair
Steel £225 inc vat per pair

Delivery schedule is like this: Cut off date for orders is 12noon 11th December 2006. The orders will all be sent to Cusco and they will make everything. Usually we allow 4 weeks for cages to be made, then they are shipped out from Japan, on this order we are shipping by sea freight to keep costs this low. Based on that I would say only make an order if you are prepared to wait for the cage to arrive - I guess end of Feb would be about right but don't quote me

I presume all these are dash-dodger ones? Any pics of how the bent part of the cage legs stood up to your 'incident'?

I think the safety 21 are through dash and cusco are around dash. Safety 21 is cheaper but stronger but heavier...

    Although dan might correct me.

dodge and through are the same prices.

Safety 21 and cro-mo are both available in dodge or through versions.

So in short, you can choose to dodge the dash, or go through it - and you can choose to have Safety 21 steel or Cro-mo lighter version at a slight increase in cost.

how hard are they to fit, and do you need to remove the rear strut brace to bolt it in.
im very interested in one, will see what happens in the next few days.

I didn't do mine but it seemed to go in easy enough and I've had customers fit them themselves before with ease. The fixings for the rear on the 6 point go through the side interior trim so you can still use the rear seats and have a rear brace

Final question - are there provisions made to fit door bars at the later date or would that need to be a custom weld-on job?

Has to be said that an unfortunate as your incident was its a superb advertisement for a cage - you can see where the roof and interior light has wrapped itself around the cage!

There aren't any provisions as such no. It wouldn't be much of a drama though if you decided you needed them.

Yes, it did a job which is why I've got going to make this offer for safety's sake. It did look cool as **** too

I fitted a 5 point Cro Mo to my S14 and TBH is was pretty easy, the rear quaters took the longest to fit, the cage was a breeze

Cro-mo ones are that metallic blue colour, like Cusco use on their arms etc

outstanding piece of engineering, saves lives !!
i've heard having a cage fitted puts up your insurance. ridiculous for extra safety!

registering interest, safety steel either 5 point or 6 point. i noticed you dont have a price for the 5 point?

also can i retain the factory seat belts and still be functional. some people have said to have a harness when using a cage.

lastly, can you still use your sun visors??

and terribly sorry about your car , saw the threads... (wheres that stack dash going)

I questioned the insurance about a cage this year when I was getting quotes. I think I asked someone at sky why it costs more for a cage. I asked if they thought the car was gonna be ragged but he said its more due to personal injury claims when people twat their head on it in an accident.

Not such a problem with harnesses I guess
