Q's are simular to a normal uk s14 , except the engine, they also normally have climate and folding mirrors.
J's are basic spec, think s13 running gear on a s14, these would have the same basic aircon as a uk s14.

i've got a silvia q s14, sr20de 160bhp open diff, no LSD, 257mm front braks like preface lift s13 not 4 pot calipers, leccy windows and folding mirrors, digital climate control but no rear wiper. Pretty happy with mine, only thing I'd change would be colour to black. and plenty of tuning options.
