    Urgent!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi everyone,

This is a bit of a stupid first post but it is in support of a member on here who can't get internet access at the moment. I am a bit of a posting whore over on the SOC so someone may know me already from here!

The member in question is Mitch200sx.....

A couple of hours ago my friend who was at a scrap yard came back to his Metallic Green 200SX S14a to find someone had smashed his front end in.

    The offending vehicle and area....

Silver, Landrover Discovery with a rear towbar fitted. Possible rear end damage as it was a good old shunt. It has also traded paint so it'll be sporting some metallic green scratches on it's rear.

This was in the carpark of the scrapyard on the edge of the A14 / A43 roundabout between Kettering and Northampton.

A witness claims he drove off towards Kettering.

Any help on this matter would be most gratefully received as he'll be getting a little visit...

    Any info to:

    richardslater@fsmail.net

    Thankyou.

Thankyou to the mods and Honey from SOC for moving this thread.

I checked with the person running the yard as I spied a CCTV camera hanging from the telegraph pole near the entrance.

    Guess what? Not turned on....

I'll keep vigilant as I'm bound to be driving round Kettering this weekend at some point.

you should try speak to the people at the scrapyard. he must have been there to collect parts probably. they may know his name...

it happened to me in my old VTi. took the whole rear quarter out! (it was a coupe so its pretty damn big panel) in the end had to fix it myself , and still chasing a claim through the Motor Insurance Bureau.

    hope you find the W@nK@

Have you reported it to the police? Isn't it technically failing to stop at the scene of an accident There may be CCTV cameras on the route to the scrappy that they have access to.

    Hope you catch the cnut

Its a real sh1tter but the police will not be interested.. And unless you have a witness that can identify the offending vehicle with correct reg then its just thier word against yours even if you do find them...

    Guys,

I'm a good friend of Mitch and he's asked if anyone on here could do a favour.

He needs a set of standard S14 wheels (with tyres) if anyone has some. I haven't got any as I bought mine with non standard wheels. These are literally going to be used to transport the car to get fixed and then taken off once the car's sorted.

If anyone local to myself (Leicester) or Mitch (Corby) has a set we'd be very greatfull.

    Cheers

    Mark
