Bump for today, there might be a possiblility to reduce the price by removing certain parts that won't affect performance etc to help out if any one fancies it?

I know a few people are sniffing around it and someone came to look at it yesterday but of course nothing is set...

    look great on those BBS's
I live in basingstoke and have a stage 1 s14a.
I pretty sure ive seen this beast (different wheels to these gold ones) once coming across the black dam roundabout from either A30 or M3 chassing very hard after an BMW M3 (late shape) did not see if you caught him lights where red for me hope you nailed him. Was around 4 months ago I think.
    did you catch him?

looks absolutely awesome with the BBS wheels!

this car must be one of the best all round cars on the board IMO, too good to be knocked back a stage or two, free bump

Ady, my s14a kicks the crap out of all models of M3, new M5's are more of a match in a straight but loose it on breaks and corners...

Thanks for all the kind comments, the Mo's were only going to be for winter and track days as they weren't flattering at all, the Racing Harts were supposed to be for show but most know what happened there

The insurance runs out early april so at that point if it hasn't gone i will need to really think about breaking it. Good time of the year to sell parts but shame to break such a sorted car. I just can't justify 2 cars, the R1 and my new house, breaks my heart as i love it

hey jolly, your car is very nicely spec'd, but with it being that price it is a little on the high end for a s14a. maybe you should try breaking it, standard parts are always available on here and driftworks. sell your car as close to standard as possible. you'd probably get more money too. but i do understand the ball ache of stripping, and packaging sold parts. Good luck with the sale.

lol, you dont understand how long it would take to put his car back to standard... or even standardish

Its not even remotely possible even if he wanted to

I was talking with jolly about 6 months ago and he wanted 14k for it, I worked out (conseratively knowing the sxoc) that I could have sold my car plus my unfitted parts and with the cash i would have saved in labour from the parts I had waiting to be fitted that I would have been £500 down overall. Thats not including the the bodykit, widearchs, carbon bonnet and boot I had lying around which would have been put on his car

That car is so well set up its untrue, I've spent my whole life around supercars, all models of ferraris inc the F40, amg mercs, m & alpina bm's, tvr's, porkers etc etc inc a 200mph run in one of them but when Justin took me out at Elvington his car ****ing rocked!! Caught up and kept up with Brens 550bhp skyline after he cut us up while we lost the back end.

At 12k it sounds a lot but I've spent near on 20k on parts on mine and its no where near as well set up as that....

    Keep it Justin

    HOWEVER

    rather than breaking it...............

im more than willing to pay good, not TOP but good money for the performace goodies AND come and strip/fit them AND GIVE my standard parts in exchange
id love the car and would pay the 12k but cant afford it, id love a porsche, lambo etc but same problem WE CANT AFFORD THEM

i can bring cash with me and pay BEFORE we start even thinking about stripping the goodies.

ive got sorted sus, brakes, exhast, fmic, clutch just need a nice engine to go with it well its somthing to think about and putting a standard engine in will bring the price down to others and the rest of the car is still very well speced up.

somthing to think on with a bit of positive in there as well

Or, Why not buy the car with yours as a part ex?

Jolly could break your car & make up the extra that way?

    Just a thought

if you do decide to break it, I may have the engine depentant on price

do NOT start clogging this post up with I want the oil cap shit, I only said about the engine as it is the highest value part that would need selling to make it worth while breaking it

The car is far too gone to turn back to normal. The chassis and breaks alone would be a mare to put back to standard. I have just had it mot'd, my insurance runs out early april so if i still have it by then i will think about breaking it. I have had loads of interest in parts but really don't want to look at this until i have to...

SimonMan - i don't think it is too high priced at all, for someone to turn their stage 1-2 S14 into my spec will cost them more than my car is going for. I do think its a very specialist car and few will come up for sale to this level. It's had everything done to perform awsomely and last. Its got an excellent known history and a UK car.

Everyone else - thanks for the kind comments, i really wish i could carry on with it, everytime i drive it, its like i'm getting into it again for the first time, its such a crazy car. It's an attention whore too and i know i will look back and regret ever having to sell it. I can't see myself bettering it either
