Iīve just done this conversion and Iīm really thankful for this guide.
But I got a little problem, my fuelpump doesnīt start when I turn the key. The fuse isnīt broken but I donīt have any power to the pump.
Does anyone have same sort of clue what it could be?
Start by checking wire No. 6 on the brown plug (look in the guide if unsure) this is the Fuel Pump signal wire for the S13 Relay. would say that's a good place to startOriginally Posted by Henrik_G

i nearly finished the wiring, but have come across 1 problem, on the s14/a table its say neutral(green/orange) is on pin 12 on F4, but on my s14 loom there is no wire coming out of pin 12, but i do have a green/orange wire coming out of pin 6 is this the neutral wire?
any help is appericated
Is it from an auto? I think the neutral wire comes on on F4, pin 6 if you've got a RHD S14a auto. It's also green/red than than green/orange.
One way to be sure - does the wire go to ECU, pin 35?
no idea if its form an auto, i pick it up over a year agond its a s14 loom
at pin 35 on ecu i have a red/back wire, can't seem to find and green/orange going to ecu
Ah, so S14, not 14a - nothing on pin 44 to the ECU then?
nothing at pin 44, i did check it earlier on the ecu diagram and and thought it was strange with no wire going there
Hmm. So where does this wire on F4, pin 6, goto on the ECU?
it doesn't go to the ecu. i traced going to grey plug on the engine part of the loom, 3 pin plug going to the inlet manifold,
edit: i can't given look at the engine as it around my mums

I'm buying a Sr20DET Blacktop from a Japanese s13 1994-98.
The engine comes with everything but the harness. So my question is which kind of harness may I use?
Can I use one from a normal EU SR20DET blacktop? Or i must have one from the original Jap-SR20?
Is you'r guide to any help for me?

You have to have JDM harness with ECU.
You can use Redtop and Black top harness from 180SX. Both are working. I have BlackTop s13 engine with RedTop s13 harness and Ecu.

If you are hurry you can buy it, but being in your position i would search more @ forums and pay for harnes with ecu 100-150quid.
Hum, maybe so.. But as I said I have the ECU. And the wiringspecialties harness is already cut to fit my ca18 chassi.

So if you have redtop ecu ( code 62 ) just search for redtop harness to buy.
I am trying to find the wire to connect pin 6 on the imu box plug. It says it goes to F4 pin27 and is green/yellow but I stupidly pulled the pins out of F4 because I thought I'd sussed it. Where does F4 pin 27 go to on the ecu plug, this might give me more of an idea.
I can find a yellow/green wire but its the tacho/speed input one I think.
its a manual s14a ecu by the way.
