Opera will work instead of Explorer

I'd like to join too, but there is no way I can run Internet Explorer on my computers. I have various different machines, but I do not own a single copy of Windows, and never have, never will. I really need to join, as I promised my insurance company I was going to sign up.

I can run Opera, Mozilla/Firefox, Netscape, Lynx, Konqueror/Safari and a few others, so why does your site registration only work with Explorer?

I used Opera, telling it to identify as Internet Explorer, and it worked okay if anyone else is having problems. Firefox didn't work.

Well I learnt Linux when my Amiga was getting impractical for net use, and after a few months I knew Linux better than Windows, even though thats what I used at school/college. I've never had to pay for software to make my computer work, and it does everything I have ever wanted it to do, without the viruses/spyware/etc. There are not as many games, but I have Unreal Tournamnet and Quake 4, and a Playstation 2 so not too bothered. I know Linux inside out, yet Windows is somewhat alien to me, but I have been using the free OS's for nearly ten years now. I have nothing against windows, but I don't have to use it so I don't.
