6/4's - Shockers set to 3 rear and 4 front (clicks from soft) & lowered about 1.25"

The ride is firm, level on corners, quite comfortable though, but it can get little bouncy on crap roads. IMO 6/4 are perfect for fast road, and occassional track use
Handling is 100x better, and more confidence inspiring as there is little weight transfer, and slides can be caught and controlled much easier!
They are massively better than the Spax/Koni Setup I've used on previous cars...

Can you tell how impressed I am

shocks are all the same, its the springs which are available in different stiffnesses

    A 6/4 spring pack means 6kg/mm front, 4kg/mm rear.

IE. 6kg to squash the spring 1mm, and don't confuse this with anything to do with ride height, that is set by adjusting the length of the shocker units

    HTH

    See my sig

I'll take a wild, blind guess on it being because this thread is over seven years old... Just a hunch...

Is the s13 and s14 pretty much the same? I'm totally new to coilover s, I'll be alright fitting them, just the set up/adjustments I'd need help with.

Although the S14 and S13 coilovers are not interchangeable, the Apex coilovers for 13 and 14 are the same style so set-up etc. will be the same.

Instructions for fitting the top of the 14s rears will be different as the 14 isn't a fastback.
