    APT - General Maintenance / Upgrade Work

    With 2 Fully Trained Technicians, APT are well equipped to deal with most Maintenance and Tuning tasks.

    We can offer everything from Basic Servicing right through to Full Engine Fitting.

    Our Labour rate is £55 per hour, loosely based on Autodata figures for time allocation, but normally working out in the Customers favour.

    For example :-

    To remove and refit a Turbo - £200
    To remove and refit a Gearbox - £165
    To replace a Head Gasket - £400
    To carry out an Oil & Filter Change - £27.50 (including disposal of old oil)
    To change Diff Oil and/or Gearbox Oil - £20 each
    To fit Brake Discs and Pads - £55 per Axle (so £100 to do all 4 corners)
    To fit a Cat-Back Exhaust - £55
    To carry out an Engine Swap - From £200 (Enquire for details)
    To carry out Auto to Manual conversion - £330 (plus parts)

    Just noticed that these prices have not been looked at since 2005!! Despite a minor rise in our hourly labour rate almost a year ago!!

    Have you guys had any experience tuning diesels?

    I'm looking to buy a Nissan Navara D40 and I see companies do 'tuning boxes' but with limited success.

    I wondered if its possible to up the boost a little and get them remapped?
