APT Clutch / Flywheel Fitting Service

APT are able to offer a Clutch Fitting service for your 200SX. We can cater for S13, S14, S14a or S15 for the same price.

We will fit anything from a Genuine Nissan Clutch to a Full Competition Twin-Plate Clutch.

We have a reputation as being not only very thorough, but also very fast. This means that if you bring your car to us for this, we can easily turn the job around in either a Morning or an Afternoon. Very often the job is complete in 2 or 3 hours.

The labour charge for this service is £165.

In addition to this, we would use 3 Litres of Gearbox oil, which we can supply at £9.00 per Litre. Alternatively, you can bring you own oil if required.

It is recommended that the Friction face of the Flywheel is skimmed when fitting a new clutch, this will allow maximum performance and long life from your new investment.

We usually keep in stock a Lightened and Refaced OE Flywheel for £125. These prices are based on Exchange.

Alternatively, we will fit any of the Aftermarket Alloy or Steel Flywheels. Often with Alloy Flywheels, they require careful warming to achieve fit, if this is the case then a small additional charge of £15.00 will apply.

    Thanks.

    Christian.

Just to add to this, what kind of price would postage be to send the flywheel out?

I can supply the flywheels and post them out, but we MUST have the old one back in exchange. This service is restricted to paid-up members as we have to trust that we will receive the exchange one back.

Postage price is £10 on top of the £95 flywheel cost. We no longer offer the skimmed flywheels, only the lightened/skimmed ones.

What the weight difference between the standard S14/a flywheel and a lightened one. Or can they be lightened to your spec.

They usually weigh in at around 7.5kg from memory, not sure what a standard one weighs. This is a safe amount that won't compromise the strength of the flywheel.
