    HELP !!!! new to s13's

    HELLO PPL

I have recently brought an s13 that im getting ready for the track,I have had the car tuned to around 220bhp..When i got the car back all was good exept if u dropped it in to 2nd or 3rd and floored it the car would suddenly die around 5500rpm i was told this was due to an automatic fuel cut off if the boosts set to high..

I was then told a (Fuel Cut Defender) chip or a stage one chip would sort this out so i have brought a second hand ecu with a norris designs stage 1 in it fitted it today and seems to have stoped the car dying at 5500rpm

BUT i now i have a new problem car splutters and holds back for a few secends before it takes off this is happenning around 3000-4000 rpm and between every gear change never did this with the original ecu

    any ideas???????
    cheers craig

had the same problem myself, and on the advice of arry, swapped the plugs for some irridium ones from denso and slapped a warlbro fuel pump in. hey presto, no problemo.

O dear. Quick! cancel all your credit cards and run for the hills before it bleeds you dry of money, then still goes wrong.

    How old are the plugs?
How old is your fuel filter?
