I can't remember - I never had a gauge on my CA18. Artist's was 10PSI though, and that was standard, I think (I should know this sort of thing).
30mpg was the best I ever got out of mine, so ~500 miles seems a tad incredible to me
Max boost only matters if you use it.
490 miles from 60 litres? is 37mpg, and that's assuming you ran out of fuel as you pulled up beside the pump.

i ran original tyres for half and 225/45/17's for the other half. the speedo reads correct as i was following my old man back from London and i checked with him what speed we were doing.

I'm on standard boost and it indicates 12psi
10psi is std boost on the uk s13. I managed 300miles from 3/4 of a tank on my way to nurburgh ring so 490miles is feasable. 37mpg isn't too outrageous, but you should toughen up and drive a bit harder IMO

it's possible, but only if you set out to do it, and drive steadily to scotland.
i got 38mpg on a run. and used 3/4 of a tank to do 360ish miles, so that's 450 to a tank
but you wouldn't get close to that on a daily drive.

My friend had a freaky s13 that used to do 450 miles to a tank... but being an auto it used to stick around 3k rpm all the time for a 140 mile daily commute.

bloody hell! i am now getting 320 miles after fitting a FMIC was getting 240 before! that has got to be a SXOC record
I hear some strange things happen if you stay at 88 miles per hour!
