Great tyres unless you go drifting on then and then they tend to fall apart. Ran them for 2 years on my road wheels.

The first thing i bought for my S14a was a set of F1 GSD3's. Wouldnt dare open the throttle with the crap that was on the wheels when i got them, why people put cheapo budget tyres on a 200BHP RWD beast i'll never know.

Anyway, they stick like nothing ive driven on before but i've yet to put them under serious testing on a track so cant comment on how they hold up to aggression, brilliant on the road though.

I think this might depend on surface, Steve, as i ran some drifting at Bruntingthorpe on the concrete and they just wore down until bald with no delaminating at all. These were ones with maybe 1500 road miles on them but they were about 5 years old.

Since using F! GSD3s I've stuck with them, very good in the dry and fantastic in the wet

Not cheap as already stated but worth it IMO, having said that I've never drifted properly so I've no idea how they cope with it (but track days they're good)

I bought some toyo T1R's as a track compromise recently as the F1's just die quickly on track.... I wish I hadnt and will be getting F1's again next time I get a new set of tyres

T1-Rs just melt worse then F1s the moment they get hot.
