She's going well Jim Didn't get a chance to come have a look on Sunday, askew told me about your traction "issues" though...drag slicks and make yourself some custom driveshafts and stuff, sorted

Yeah, turns out it was a wire to the injectors that was faulty, my mate sorted it and from then it has been running fine, the bumper and grille will be back on by the weekend.
I will also post pics of my interior and of the suspension!
Jim
you can get a bit more power to the tar mac by fitting anti tramp bars
you seem a handy bloke maybe you could make them just need tube steel
rubber bush it fit from bottom of leaf spring to the body you
bolt under the chassis and you have to make up four plates with two
holes top and bottom this will take some of the out when flooring it
Glad it's going well mate!
Another slight update...just some pics when the front of the car was put back on the other day...
Petrol I havent managed a good pic of my suspension yet but here is one of the interior as requested...
The wiring you can see there will be all tidied away by next time.
Thanks
Jim
Love it

Mmmm much better
Most people wouldn't spot that IC now.
Bet you can scare a few Nova racers away from the lights
As well as TOTB, are you coming to the retro rides show in August

I guess its a bit of a trek for you, but its the spiritual home of cars like ours
I think you might need a new speedo
Few updates on the car from the last post I made on the projects forum!
Just got the car back today from a tuneup at AVA turbos. Over the winter there has been an omex 500 ECU fitted in a "pursuit of happiness" with the car!
Very pleased with the results, managed 274whp at 6000rpm. The mid range power curve was better than the one shown but the car had to be backed off due to maxing the injectors
Could anyone advise me on injectors for a ca that cold handle this sort of power?
Also the manifold cracked around the turbo when the car was on the rollers but apart from that all went well
Dont have any pics of the car the now, just of the graph but il get some back up that show the repainted floor etc...
Cheers,
Jim.

A while since iv posted on the projects forum!
Last week I had the car at shakespeare county for a bit of drag racing , the car was running down on cylinders but still felt strong with roughly 280rwhp + a 75hp nitrous shot.
Anyway, over the moon with the times I managed...got a 12.1 at 124mph with full trim and slicks and a 12.2 at 126 with no interior . The 60ft times are still high though with a best of 2.2secs which still leaves a lot of room for improvement i think!
Underwent a slightly different look in its drag trim as well...
Thanks,
Jim.
Awesome jimbo She's looking good with the bonnet painted and the steelies
