Noise limits how rude, I hope my new bung reduces it enough as I had to take my decat silencer off, the length it was, nothing fitted and the exhaust kept banging on the driveshaft
Come on bren, get those 340mm 3 inch silencers done

Shouldn't be too difficult. Worst case if they won't move is just to drill em out and re-tap the holes. Or are they press-fit spline studs like a wheel hub, if so Im sure my 300ton hydraulic press will push them out
Send me a pic bren...
Theyll need drilling out. Im not worried about the studs though, we are fitting a different turbo that should be more suited to drift so the studs arent the issue. Its the one bastid manifold to head nut thats causing the headaches.
Which have been compounded by our tow hack (Omega diesel estate) refusing to start. Now I know its a big old engine but we are jumping it off a 4ltr Jag ffs
We've had to phone the garage and postpone the work until we get get the big old heap running
are passengers allowed? sorry its be answered before?
The cars at Grahams dads now so it might be sorted for the weekend
I dont think you can take passengers.
cheers bren.
um... still no tickets Vez... do most people have theirs now?
The nuts been removed. £50!!!! £50 to take a nut off!
We are going to get the car now.
Good luck Bren, hope you get it sorted for the D1 on Sat, and it survives for Trax on Sunday.
Its £50 +vat!!!!!!
got my tickets.
£50... but on the bright side you got your car back.
I thought you would have been on "mates rates" as it was Midgers Dad sorting the drift bitchOriginally Posted by bren
Do you know how he removed it in the end ?
Considering I wasnt going to bother doing the last drift round at all and that, as you say, its Grahams dad and considering the only reason Im making an effort to get it sorted is because Graham sent me a PM the other day so I thought Id try to get it ready for him to run and considering it costs us around 600 per round to compete then yeah, I would have expected some effort on his dads part in terms of the bill but nope, £50+vat it is.
The cars back here now so Ill start on it soon.
My & Andy's tickets etc arrived yesterday, thanks Vez
Barring a miracle, my car won't be on the stand... sorry about that, but I'm pretty pd off about it too Will prolly come up in the Escort but don't worry, I'll make sure it's hidden somewhere well away from the stand!
Got my tickets thanks Vez.
