The more people the cheaper the units will be

Bear in mind that others maybe cheaper but these units can, and do, go wrong and if you buy from someone doing the dodgy on the taxes etc then what are you going to do if a sensor fails or a unit goes t1ts up? Ive had three go wrong so far and dont think that you can just send them back to Innovate to have them repaired because we sent two back, got them back from Innovate and they had the very same fault that they were sent back for!

I can do the units cheaper still if you are prepared to risk getting a dodgy unit and are happy to waiver the warrenty

Good Question, based on the amount of Megasquirt kit he imports I would believe so, unfortunately I have no definitive answer. He was writing the build your own ECU articles in PPC Magazine.

Would the Group buy be just for the LM-1 or would the standalone XD-1 (with LC-1) be included?

    Tone,

You surely cant be saying that me not honouring a warrenty after someone has screwed up a sensor because of their own fault is unreasonable?

We can do a buy on any and everything

I'd be interested in the standalone XD-1 (with LC-1) if the price was right

Is 3 out of 40 a high mortality rate for this kind of thing? Are they dead on arrival or do they die after a period of time/use?

You don't need the LC-1 if you have the LM-1, they do the same thing! except the LM-1 has a display and data logs, the LC-1 is meant to go with the XD-1 gauge, if you don't rquire full data logging.

But a warranty wouldn't be relevant in that situation anyway, it wouldn't be fit for the purpose sold? Or did I miss something
