nismo link doesn't seem to work...

The prototype is cool. But i prefer the S13 as it is today

I have some Sneak preview pics of the S14 @ home. I'll search them up and post them when i scan them in

If that's a dig at the standard suspension height, I went off the lowered idea after it took 2 scissor and 1 hydraulic jack to change a flat on an S13 with lowered springs (& dodgy sills) . Plus I don't have to fear speedbumps

Not particularly at yours John, but just in general. With the 15's they come on the arch gap seems extra huge

The production windscreen profile looks much better than the prototype, but the prototype wheel arches What were Nissan thinking when they fitted Terrano-stylee arches to the S13

EDIT: No rust attracting spoiler either

Can somebody ask real nice and get some of that content mirrored onto the sxoc site? Think the history page http://200sxs13.nismo.org/a_story_about_silvia.html is really good.

I'd be reluctant to let everyone see a standard S13 interior! Would look with S14 leather though

    Best of all:

it's electronic, what with new dashboard buttons and all

Mind, that would be irritating when you hit it with your knee and sent the roof down in a downpour

It's Yankie cack hand drive, that's a replacement for the rear window heater switch. The "knee" operated fog light switch is still fitted but on the other side. I tend to hit the fog light with the key fob and the warning light hides behind the steering wheel.

There was a convertible for Japan too but it's much rarer (400ish? or am I thinking of Sil-eighty) made by Autec. Had the fixed lamp Silvia front end.

For last year of S13 240SX in US and Canada all were convertible and have 155bhp KA24DE engine. Should be able to convert to turbo and RHD using UK parts - bulk head is supposed to have holes marked up for clutch and brake. But it will need a whole UK car to get the dash, loom and front subframe to get engine mounts right.

Of more note is the UK brochure says zinc/nickel plated both sides durasteel exterior panels. P7 Wings yes, doors yes, bonnet yes, rear quarter maybe, tailgate maybe but not the sills. The plating protects the panel but it rots from every cut edge. If you ever get new panels paint the rolled over edges and cutouts inside and out before putting it on.

    and
Variable ratio power assisted steering!!!??? P11

    and
variable wipers 'speed regulated' - the faster you go the harder they cling to the windscreen. P7. NOT on any UK ones I know of, only on German ones. Do we all have gounds under the trade descriptions act to get them fitted at this late date?
