Mr Oilman - I am looking for a MTF for my 97R integra Type R DC2 on 105k.
Mild trackwork - driven reasonably hard on road.
Suggestions please? I need 2.2l by the sounds of it.
Cheers

I would go with either the Amsoil MTF or the Redline MTL here http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-670-75w-80-75w-85-mtfs.aspx

which oil do you recommend for my Cusco-RS LSD?
I am using the car 90% for drifting/track.
I am looking for an alternative for the
pretty expensive Cusco 80W-140 oil.
are you shipping to Germany?
Hi,
Just after some recommendations for engine, auto and diff oils for the following, which I've just bought:
Make: Nissan
Model: 200SX s14A Auto
Mileage: 99,000 miles
Year: 1999
Engine: 2.0 SR20DET
History: Full history and oil changes every 6k (was due oil change 4k ago)
Modifications:Currently standard with the exception of an Apexi induction kit. Will be fitted with an Apex FMIC, decat frontpipe, decat, HKS system and Walbro during the next to weeks, followed by some form of boost control but that is likely it.
Typical use: Town use, short journeys and some motorway but no track use.
Current Oil: No idea.
I’ve noticed your recommendations for 5W-40 but I’m wondering if this might be a little thin for a 100k engine and if you think 10W-40 will be a better choice?
Cheers!

I would still go with the 5w-40 for the simple reason that the 5w and 10w refers to the cold viscosity and the 40 is the viscosity at 100C. The cold and hot viscosities are measured on different scales as the oil is much thinner hot than cold. A 5w-40 and 10w-40 are the same thickness when hot, so there will be no difference between them. When cold, it just means the 5w will get around the engine quicker and give better start up protection.
For the diff have a look at these

order done
I would go with a 5w-40 synthetic and you will find those through the link below.
http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-656-5w-40.aspx
Out of those, the best ones are the Silkolene Pro S, Motul 300V, Redline and Gulf Competition. The Motul 8100 X-Cess, Gulf Formula G, Fuchs Supersyn and Mobil Synt S are good, cheaper alternatives.
