I have a 96 S14 with 91k and no service history. I mostly do very short runs (5miles) but will spend then evening out giving the car a hard time Its at stage 1 and I'm going to go for stage 2 soon so 260-280bhp i guess.
Could you Pm or post prices and recommendations for engine oil and i want to bleed my clutch do you do stuff for that? Could you include delivery prices
I would recommend Silkolene PRO S 5w-40 for the engine and for the clutch, Motul RBF 600 is about the best we do.
Just email me for a price list sales@opieoils.co.uk or if you're going to GT Battle next weekend, pick it up there and save the carriage. See the pre-order thread.

HI Oilman,
Just wandering what oil would you recommend for a standard VW Golf VR6 2.8L. Cheers
Ed
There is a code in your handbook which should be either VW503.01 or VW503.00, could you let me know what it says.

Just checked the database and your looking at VW500.00 gives you a large choice from 10w-40 semi-synthetic to 5w-40 fully synthetic.
We have loads of oils that meet this spec from Pro S 5w-40 to semi-synthetic 10w-40.
The quality is down to you really, it depends on style of driving really.
You can always email me for a price list, all VW500.00 oils are listed in the specs.

Simon,
I'm looking for some decent oil for my S13 but don't want to spend a fortune
This'll be the 5th time I've changed the 'box oil in a year ( ) and I'm hoping it'll be the last time for a while...
I need oil for both the 'box and the engine. I'm running stage 1 mods (still on standard T25) and making about 220bhp. I don't drive the car that often and use it mainly for drift days. I do maybe 5000 miles a year in it. When I do drive it though, it gets driven hard. I need something that will be able to stand bouncing off the rev limiter in first and second for a period of time while at drift practices!
What do you recommend, do you have it in stock and how much will it cost?
Kiruji,
For a drifitng S13 you will need good oils to help keep it all together.
For the engine, Silkolene Pro S 10w-50.
For the gearbox and diff, Silkolene Syn5 75w-90 gear oil.
Both are these oils are ester based thus ixtreemly shear stable and strong.
For prices, drop me a mail to sales@opieoils.co.uk

Hi I'm from Ireland and just changed my oil. Searched High and low for Silkoline but couldn't find any. I found it hard enough to find 5W-40 oil at all, only 1 shop out of 15 I looked in had it.
I drive 200sx s14a, which is completely standard. I got Valvoline SynPower Full Synthetic SAE 5W-40, API SL/CF, ACEA A3/B3/B4, MB: 229.3. I assume this is PAO synthetic? As the numbers closely match the Mobil1 15W-50 (I decided not to put it in after reading through the thread), which I had bought and you said was PAO synthetic. .
I was just wondering which synthetic type the Valveoline is?
Also does your company happen to ship to or have any affiliates in Rep.Ireland?
