Try getting some smoke pellets, light a few and put them in the car on a plate or something non flammable. Then look for smoke around the outside such as door rubbers, screen seals etc
Good that it wasn't anything serious or any human error!

If buying one made for a JDM Silvia, you will most likely have to trim it for the headlamp adjuster motors as I'm fairly sure JDM cars never had them.
Have you thought about an Aluminium GKTech...
When you put the pump back in, you need to reach right into the tank and make sure the filter is at the lowest possible point as they can get caught and sit higher in the tank causing fuel surging at...
It's the hose inside the tank that connects the pump to the top hat, thats what we are talking about
This is also a possibility, same thing can happen if a clamp isn't tight when installed. Defo something to investigate. If voltage to the pump is constant and it's building any pressure, the pump is...
Revving without load wont generate any positive pressure, the FPR will just see 0psi/bar whilst revving. Idle should be around 0.7 bar of vacuum.
How long does the fuel pump prime for when you first...
If your fuel pump isn't getting enough power, it would cause engine to run lean not rich. If I remember correctly, the base fuel pressure is around 3 bar (just with fuel pump primed, no start and no...
VVT Sprocket sounds like it's close to death. A common problem that requires a good second hand unit, which is a risk, or buy a brand new Nissan one for around £350 then whatever the labour is to fit...
Depends what you mean by "best". Do you want a super loud and obnoxious exhaust, subtle and quiet, best for performance, best looking, best for cruising? It's all down the personal taste and what the...
I bet you they fill it with 78% Nitrogen. It's a special technique that involves having an air compressor and filling the tyres with normal air, then you charge the customer extra saying you filled...
Turbo to manifold gasket is loose to that means the turbo studs/nuts have loosened/snapped. Common problem of you have stainless exhaust because of the extra weight

I believe Autel is the go to budget friendly brand. Although the garage next door to my work bought the brand new snap on scanner for £10k recently and it does literally everything. May as well buy...
I personally don't trust products you see on Facebook ads etc because they offer people discounts, free stuff or partial refunds in exchange for a good review. Not a reflection on their quality or...

Take the arch liner out, bumper and sill skirt off, side light and headlight out then its just bolts. Cant remember exactly but you might need to open the door to access one or more
Wingfield Brothers products will be far higher quality than Grams stuff I'm 100% sure. But that comes with a price for the quality
Hayward and Scott are in Basildon and make really high quality exhausts. Might be worth contacting them to see what they suggest to remove the drone

Yeah, if you don't get the oil level exactly right to the millimetre, you risk blowing the welds on the intake manifold.
Just change as normal, warm it up, drop the oil, drop the filter, replace...
This just popped up on my YouTube, thought some of you might find it interesting! Just the first episode so far but hopefully more to come

Fitting stiffer bushes will always transmit more noise, but the biggest increase in noise is from fitting solid diff mounts all round. You hear all the clunking and it can be unnerving the first time...
I know the r200 diffs usually take 75w90 but I can't see that being too big of an issue. Lots of driveline noises go away when dipping the clutch because it unloads the transmission, allowing it to...
Possibly a failing pinion bearing. Sadly its it is, its a real pain because I'm sure you have to remove the abs sensor in the diff to get it out. The sensor can be horrible to get out and most break...
Get a good quality wideband gauge asap if you are tuning your boost yourself.
