I see. :D
Aw that kind of sucks actually. Oh well, atleast it's mint and does 60-70mpg. Not too bad on the insurance either.
Is there any way to change tax bands?
Just found this :
Q: Can my tax band change?
A: Yes. Your car’s tax band may change if any modification or fuel type alterations are made. This will require a tax disc exchange, so fill in a V70...
I went out and bought myself a new car, a VW Polo from 2000. Supermint with only 53k on the clocks, full VW history. Before buying I looked at a few road tax websites as to how much it would be....
Because my financial circumstances changed, and also added family responsibilities. Kind of gutted it was only 6 months, but I guess that's just the way it goes sometimes. I am glad I atleast got...
Car got sold today but managed to get a nice sound clip of the Silent Hi-power. Sorry for the camera malfunction halfway through, I think my wife got blown away lol.
Such a nice and quiet exhaust...
Don't worry about the HKS frontpipe, they are horrendously overpriced. I've got a Apex flexi front pipe and elbow and the fitment is great. Just make sure you get a S14a elbow and S14a frontpipe (if...
Hmm, you can try and find one second hand, but it's not that easy.
Silent high power is quiet, not stupid loud, but still sounds decent at full throttle. I think it's the perfect exhaust for an everyday car.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha
I thought it would be just a shot in the background, but this is pretty awesome. XD
Thanks, I'm having a look as we speak, they did find the Sapphire Blue, just need to read which kit to get. :)
I've searched some topics, and apparently halfords Sapphire Blue is nowhere near the right colour.
An other post mentioned this :
Base metallic paint
DARK BLUE

Anything without rust is great I guess. Should be interesting albeit a bit boring.
That's good to hear. What about the gearbox issue? Are they made out of butter? Does it affect all 2000-2002 models?
Bump. :)
Thinking about getting one of these for a cheap 60-70mpg runabout. The 1.4TDI version that is.
Some bad points here :

What's up with the gaps between the bumper and bonnet?
I would have hoped Nissan put a slightly better one in the 250bhp S15. Or is it exactly the same one as in the S14 and S14a? Sure hope not lol
Btw, does anyone know what they are on about with the...
Sorry, misread the post.
Don't touch it apart from maintenance and making sure it's up to the torture that is british winter roads. It's pretty much perfect. Wheel type is up to you, but the ones on there in black suit the...
I think it's kind of important to note in the guide that the manifold studs have to be loosened and fastened in a particular order. Torque setting wouldn't go amiss either. It's all in the manual....
The ones on the underneath of the manifold I did with a flexible joint on a extension socket. Halfords do them.

Done that ^ in every way possible, but it's still once twisted at the anchor point on the...
Been like this since I bought the car, but it's really getting on my nerves now. Anyway, unless I'm blind, how is it possible these things get all twisted up? I probably need to unwind it twice...
