Sure you fitted it right? Sounded fine on mine.Strip it and give it a clean/lub.

eh? do you mean the take off point near the throttle butterfly? If you do then none, the pipe squizz used goes back to the inlet manifold as well.

I'm at 'next' now. Engine is out and going in a kit car, dunno what clutch to put in, maybe a helix.
Good god, you must be sad to go back this far. Clutch died after about 15000 milles btw.
And there all wrong, it nolonger means what viscosity it is, it means it behaves as if it was that viscosity.
Not any more, they nearly all use Sierra diff and drive shafts, with bespoke hubs and wishbones. Look here www.locostbuilders.co.uk for mine inparticular go here, www.tigerracing.co.uk/lowcost .
Interesting... I've just took mine off the road to put in a Tiger for track days only. Should be fun, a reliable 250bhp = 500bhp a tonne. Just hope the Sierra diff holds out!
I thought it was a 1.8?
Congrats anyway you lanky twat ! :notworthy :D
Surely it does this becouse the the fpr is designed to shut off against a fuel pressure of the standard pump, increase this pressure and its too strong for it to close.
Aint that what I said:confused: With the return open (vacuum) you get 36psi (ish) and closed (on boost) pump pressure(-pipe losses)
How?
There is only a spring, and diaphram. the spring closes off the return to tank by pushing on the diaphram . When the engine is on a vacuum (not boost) is sucks on this spring and diaphram...
but as I'm not due to get get up till 8.00 I'm of to bed to dream of big dirty women. ta rar!
Seriously i just changed jobs becouse of shifts, they F*** you up. Go to bed now and you'll be looking at the clock every 30 mins till about 4. Take the plunge an have a beer or two:D
about 2.30 was about right for me. try whiskey it helps.
If you get the manual( do a search) it tells you how. have fun!:D
Looks the same as mine (ND) this is a known problem though and you can get a valve that fits in pipe to the manifold. Dont no anymore but was told it could happen when I got mine. Give ND a ring.
Re fpr. Theres (imho) a lot off bollox about them on the bb. The s13 one simply lets fuel return to tank at non boost, when the car is on boost it shuts off this return giving maximum pressure. If a...
that was quick!!
Well maybe I'm being thick, but why are you running a stage 2 chip ( which by its nature must over fuel) with a standard tubby?Pop your standard chip in and set it back to 10psi and see if it still...
Mines fine, but I do do a full system reset and software download pretty regular.
Dont really know on perf. but cruises nice (no tax or ins yet). 104000 miles full (very) service history, 2 owners 1st for 1 year then a doctor. 1993 very clean, no rust, all gizmos work (but there...
This is true, but I did't know untill I was driving and it told me I had a side lamp fault , nearly shit myself and crashed it!!
