the only thing if not doing in a booth allow extra dry time between coats...use the gun blowing just air or a hair dryer...

a rotary is no good for prep work what so ever exept for 36 or 80 grit for stripping paint to the metal

get a small 50-100l compressor and a trap

smal reg were it goes on to gun

the biggest thing is a gun to run off so little cfm

i would say a devilbiss...

upol also do a satin black trim spray if you want to go down the spray can route even gives a good spray fan !!

you can buy 2k satin mix with hardner and spray

or apply black base coat then ad flttening agent to your clear coat spary away

was the filler wet sanded was it outside in the rain when it was filled etc ?

basicly strip it right back go do the repair again use 2k primer 1ltr tin mix correct

leave over...

and the black on the 14s are straight black so you could get away with 2k straight gloss >



just were a mask when doing so on both applications



or run it down to me and il fix it my...

most are painted in base and clear

so if you have a compressor go to the paint shop and buy some base coat and clear coat fix the repair use propper 2k primer job should be good

never realy painted with celly.... bit before my time :D ....but it sounds to me a thing called solvent trap or blooming

try some g3 polish with a buff and it should come back to gloss

usually its on the first coat it will happen ....
lots of people put the paint on heavy just to se tho colour straight away

3 med coats will cover the same and leave...

ok to blend do your repair

prime repair 3 coats first 1 just the repair 2nd just wider than your first 3rd wider than your second- you shoud not ave a solid edge
