Took a chance and ordered some, seem like decent quality, will get them fitted this weekend and hope it sorts the problem.....
Found some details about it, thanks......
Are the Audi ones a straight swap, can't be doing with messing about with wiring etc, especially when it comes to the ignition side of things.
Also worried they'll make me drive like a twat.....
Got a misfire problem, starting to rule things out and next in line is the coil packs, had a problem with them a few years ago and got some 2nd hand ones, so thought buying new might be a better...
Not quite the same problems you're having but I had vague steering after uprating the steering rack bushes, they weren't quite big enough to hold the rack tight so it would move side to side, might...
Been away, didn't realize I'd got a response to this.
haha, what, rusty?
It's a fairly common problem, have a search of the forums and see how other people have tackled it.
Yours doesn't look too bad but until you strip it back properly you won't know the full extent -...
It was at playing aloud again tonight
Surprised to see an SX in the car park when I left just now, looked
So what's actually leaking - the banjo joint where it attaches to the engine or the pipe?
If it's just the joint you replace the copper washers if it's the pipe go to apex and get some braided hoses...
It's occasionally going up to the red, thought it was due to spirited driving/low water the first time a few months back, drove carefully back home and the temp came down, then the other day it did...
Think my coolant temp sender is playing up, hoping it is rather than something worse anyway, where's the best place to get one - is it best to get a proper Nissan part or will an intermotor part do?...
Guessing last one is INT/L and internal light and CHIME might be a lights on warning thing
Basically, you need to alter the length of one, or all, of the wiper linkages to increase the sweep of the wiper and move the position of the arm connected to the motor to make it park in the centre...
I would suggest buying a welder, learn to weld and sort it yourself. As you've found out, unless you pay a lot of money, most garages aren't interested in refabricating parts or doing intricate...
^^^that's what I meant by the 'wiring mod'
Sat in traffic the other day and noticed the whine from Walbro fuel pump was varying in pitch rather than the constant whine it's always been (or I assume it is as I've not noticed it changing...
New remote battery made no difference, tried resyncing it several times but still nothing.
Maybe I'll try the master resync again.....
ok, been through the million search results for keyfob - master fob only unlocks/disarms so that explains that, replaced the battery in the other fob although it's not that old, see if that works...
Went to unlock/disarm the SX yesterday morning and got nothing - tried resetting the fob (red/bue buttons etc) and still got nothing.
Assumed the battery was flat, as it does seem to lose charge...
More likely to be M10 fine thread
Had to think about what you were on about there for a moment - I'm not a visitor to Lincoln unfortunately, I have to live here.
Could have been me.
I'm going to make a guess here - power steering pump is engine driven, turning the wheel works the pump which puts a little extra load on the engine so the idle control valve compensates for this by...
