Seems to me that Galway has the best Kart track.. Not that it matters I guess...

What's the opinion... Sounds like a good weekend away....
No worries.. Maybe we'll see you there soon when you get that all sorted...
Here's a clip in the rain today at Mondello....
...
Dave, Haven't seen you in Mondello for quite a while... Had a fun day out there today...
What type of car are you modifying? 900Kgs is well light...
Not a lot, maybe 165 lb/ft....
Well, given that the engine had been fried to death I reckon its down to maybe 180 or less... It weighs approx 1050 Kgs at the moment... Am out in Mondello this Friday as it happens but might make...
Hi Dave.. I have a set.. Not sure if they will suit your wheels though.. Your welcome to them though.. If you want then I can meet you in Mondello on the 10th if you wish..
Hi.. Yep.. We were learning the circuit during that early session... The MX is a 2.5 V6 approx 200 hp, coilovers, Evo 9 brakes, roll cage etc etc...
The 14a is I guess what you'd call stage 2...
Thanks.. Its a 2.5 V6 N/A.. Had a lot of fun on track with many Caterfields etc... Unfortunately my 14a hasn't a hope of being as quick or I'd happily use it..
A Mazda MX-6... Haven't had my 200sx out on track in a long while...
Hi, This is the only vid I could find.. Its one of the first laps on the track so we were taking it a bit steady...

Hi Getrag.. Just found this post.. Had a great day out in Anglesey.. I'll see if I have any footage of your car and post it.. Glad your friend enjoyed the spin...
Here's the lap with your friend...
Chain seems to be tensioned OK, don't know how it happened...
Yep, Although it couldn't really go anywhere except keep bouncing off the timing chain.. Surprisingly there seems to be no obvious damage. Sounds nice and quiet now!
Just removed the rocker cover and found the problem straight away! The timing chain guard had broken off...

Seems to drive OK. Although I noticed that the engine does not stop absoultely immediately when the ignition is turned off i.e takes a second
No, Its best heard at idle..
It stays there when the engine speed increases. Also stays when the car is put in gear and the clutch is let out.
Hi, I'd appreciate if someone could tell we what this rattle might be? It sounds like a ball bearing rattling in a can. Doing a trackday tomorrow so don't want to wreck the engine if its serious.
...
Many thanks. I asked Emma this morning to include Turbo elbow nuts (two sets to stop them from coming loose) and studs if you have them.
Piers
Can you please confirm that you shipped Brake pads, dust boots and a turbo gasket kit on Tuesday. I have a trackday coming up on Friday and really need them in time.
Many thanks .. Piers
You better send me a S14a turbo gasket kit with that shipment, please.
Piers
Good to know.
Can you let me know when my stuff has shipped. I need them in a hurry.
REgards .. Piers
Hi, Do you have the Apex Coilovers in stock?
