Hi Glen, I don't the cracking in the pics. How bad is it? Are the wheels themselves in decent condition? PM me a price and I could take a look this / next week ?
Cheers, Robert.
Hi Billy, Thanks for the offer but Glasgow is too far for me. Cheers, Robert.
Has anyone local to Aberdeen got a set of S14 standard alloys with two decent tyres they would like to sell? Thanks.
Missed out the gasket where oil pick up bolts to engine / not tightened the bolts?
.....so just to confirm, if the Taxation Class on the V5 is stated as "PLG" then the road tax should fall into the bands based on engine size. Anything else and the class would be based on CO2...
That extra steel will mainly add torsional resistance. I don't think those brackets are intended to carry torsion.......so there's not much point IMHO.

It was snowing in central Aberdeen 5 mins ago :)
Is this of any help? http://www.sxoc.co.uk/vbb/showthread.php?t=320315
Is that a knock sensor in the first photo (under the exhaust elbow)?
There are bits of loom in the second photo.
Help! Has anyone local to Aberdeen got a M12*1.25 die (same size as the 200SX wheel studs) which I can borrow?. I only need to clean up two threads so can get it back to you the same day....
I can't help but I sympathise, it makes your blood boil. (and from experience, the police do F all).
You can adjust your own camber very accurately (much easier than accurately adjusting toe-in / out by yourself)
I agree, the stock elbow is quite large bore and also, being short, not much restriction to gas flow.
I'm live near Inverurie but I'm in central Aberdeen just now. I'll PM you a number.
Definitely replace the hard-pipes with flexibles while you're in there then, for two reasons. (1) installing the flex-pipes is much easier and (2) when one of the hard pipes fails, you can wreck the...
Have you got flexible turbo feed pipes or are they still the original hard pipes? If the latter, it's worth thinking about taking the turbo and manifold off anyway to replace the pipes.
Cheers,...
I'm after the middle section of standard exhaust for an S14 or S14a (they are the same). cash waiting (if it's cheap!!) Here's a pic of the bit I mean.

I'm selling my S14 and associated performance parts (see my signature below) but also have a box of miscellaneous S14 parts to give away. There's nothing very exciting, clutch plates, manifold,...
Yeah get some pics up of the head-gasket and the damaged pistons. Some marks on the dished part aren't too much of a problem. What about the cylinder bores and edges of the pistons - do they look OK?...
weird shaped finger :p
Remove the head and put a straight edge against the head and block. That will show if either is warped. I'd be surprised if the block is damaged. If the head isn't warped, check the valves look OK...
Do you mean it's turning over but not firing or not turning over?
If the former then you are missing either spark, fuel or compression. Since you've cooked the engine, lack of compression due to...
spark-plug in spark-plug socket and a bit of duct-tape - works perfectly ;)
That's a good tip.
I had to use oxy-acetylene to get one of my studs out the head. The thread on the stud was destroyed as I removed the nut and then I could feel the stud begining to shear as I...
