Wow...so signed back into sxoc after a loooong time of inactivity (realising how much I missed my s13) as I'm looking to be swayed to go for an s14a - not sure I timed it the best stumbling across...

All the nuts/bolts holding that thing in place seem almost welded on...i've had 3 people try and not one can physically move any of them :wack:

Also checked the fluid level and all is fine on that...

Belt off...knocking gone...result :D

I am pretty sure thats where the problem lies...i was sat watching it spinning for about 20 minutes earlier and the knock happens each time it seems to spin off centre.

I will get a second opinion...

Would you guess then that with the symptoms being the slightly off centre rotation yet everything is still tight that the problem lies withing the casing and the whole unit will need...

I was going to do mine later on...is the tank o-ring a 'must' as i aint got a new one of these!! (unless one comes with the Walbro kit - i haven't checked).

Oh and not sure of it makes a difference but the car is not standard...its had a garrett t28 fitted, full exhaust, induction kit and a stage 2 Horsham chip.

I've just bought an S13 and within 2 days of owning it i had a problem with the anti lock mechanism on the brakes!! Quick fix to this was removing the fuse for the antilock brakes which does the job...

Hey guys, first post here but ive very recently got a '91 plate S13.

It's not in bad nick but does have a litte rust coming on the rear arches which needs sorting, front bumper needs to be changed...
