just a quick tip, you don't want the exhaust valve to shut your exhaust all closed.

correct, leave the neg. lead off for about 10 minutes and you're good to go.

we've had an airbag (the one on the seat) deploy while driving...not so nice.

I've had very good results with transfer2000 (www.transfer2000.co.uk)

EGR delete is definitely one thing to consider, cloggs up everything there and gives you a headache with emission testing...at least over here.

definitely check the n75 and look for cracks or broken vacuum hoses. they cause sh*tloads of problems.

u can't kill the engine, but...

having a 1.9 VAG TDI myself, i would say the VNT adjusting rod gets stuck ... BUT if this is the 90hp version, then there's no VNT turbo (they only came with 110hp and above).

so the problems...

over here, HIDs are illegal if they're not self leveling and don't have washers :(

actually, the airbag light never comes on ;) bulb is there, but it's not illuminating at startup.

from what i know, there has been an aftermarket steering wheel in the car, but i bought it with the original in place.
i removed the switch and started the car to park it in my garage - no airbag...

dissambled my interior trim to check whats wrong with the speedo and came around a yellow connector next to the steering column and have no clue what it's for
