Ignition amp still there (do you mean power transistor or is this something else?) and gonna check that in a min. Cant check plugs today I dont have plug spanner, seems to have gone walkies.

I have been back in contact with the cowboys that sold me a duff lump and after a while they have agreed to take the engine back but wont cover my costs of fitting the...

It's only nuber 1 and theres no compression to reall speak of.
The engine is supposed to be a rebuilt one that I bought from JAP AUTO PARTS in Birmingham.

And the remedy would be......?

What are the causes of no compression?
