AG Motors, Papworth. All fairly painless.
...and passed. Woo!
Thanks for the posts guys. Booked in now so hoping for a pass. Don't see so many S-bodies around - mine's been tucked away for a year now.
Will do. Thanks.
Can anyone recommend an MoT station in Cambridgeshire? Ideally somewhere along the A428 corridor from Cambridge to St Neots.
The car should pass - I'm not asking for anything dodgy. But I'd like...
I have D2 356mm and they are insane. But if you go this route (or 330mm) make sure you budget for decent pads which will set you back about £200. The stock ones are appalling.
Not sure - I've got a Blitz Nur Spec.
I've historically used Falken 452's, but these appeared to be unavailable last time I needed new rubber. I now have Vredestein Ultrac Vorti's on the rear and they offer far more traction and grip...
I had issues with 7's - missing at higher revs. 8's work for me.
I have a pair of working front calipers that were recently removed to make way for a big brake kit. PM me if you're interested.
Another vote for the WB Greenstar boiler.
Bear in mind if you change to a combi boiler and it breaks down, you're without heating and hot water. If you go for a conventional boiler and retain the...
Cool. Thanks Dan. I'll have a think about that...
Hi Dan. Any update on the big Brembo price?
Thanks.
This stuff is expensive, but very good:-

I've used it on a number of things, including clocks, and it's performed really well.
Ok. Thanks Dan. Can I take it from that you don't carry any in stock?
Hi Dan.
Do you still do the monster brembo caliper kit with 360mm discs? If so, what price can you do them for?
Thanks.
Thanks Bren. It should be in your inbox.
Chris.
Hi guys.
I started installing the K-Sports from the recent GB. Generally it's all gone together well, but I do have a query with the pad fit (or perhaps caliper fit). Basically the pads sit...
A decat silencer was a lot quieter than the standard cat when I fitted one. That was with a Blitz Nur-spec.
Have a look through this thread. It may answer your question. Or possibly create more confusion...

That's my understanding. 6 as standard and 7 for stage 1 upwards. Most people don't need 8's unless they're running really big power.
I'm with Gav. For stage 1, grade 7's were perfect. At stage 3, I had no end of problems with the 7's, but 8's work perfectly.
Installed, aligned and all good. If I'd spotted the instruction sheet in the box a bit sooner, I could have saved everyone's time too...
Thanks for your time yesterday, Jez.
Just to let you know that the car feels great following the alignment work. I would recommend this to anyone.
Cheers,
Chris
Ok - thanks for the heads-up.
They're part of the Apex full alignment kit that I've been installing, so by now I imagine everything is out. But it's booked in for alignment next week.
