Is there a nissan immobiliser on the S15 like the NATS on the S14A?

If so what do i need for the key and ECU to work? Is there a control unit someplace on the loom??

That's fine thanks, the engine I'm looking does not come with a loom and I got an old S14 loom and ecu I'm my garage :-) also the engine is going into a Cortina :-)

Sorry if this a repeated question! Can a wire up a 1998 engine strait onto a 1996 loom and ECU? I don't believe there is any difference and it gets around the NATS?

You gonna have to do much to the tunnel to get the gearbox in?? Loving the updates :-)

It's going in a mk3 cortina. The engine would fit fairly easy in the bay but was worried about where I will have to mount the engine to get the gearbox lined up!
