crikey - be great to see some new photos of it - I remember this one :D
just to be a cheerleader, I bought my mig welder to do my S13 after a bodyshop had a go at it. badly. I figured I couldn't do any worse - did it as a patchwork quilt MOT type repair - was a mess but...
I think that archive idea is good - basically codifying all of the topics that people put serious work into figuring out - like John Bennett's RB swap - making sure it's hosted, making sure there's...
I do my party bus (Elgrand E51) occasionally since it still has nice paint. The S13 is lucky if it doesn't have mould on. :wack:
it's the size of the vehicle and your age :wack: - S13s / 14s are...
 that is seriously lovely, any more pics possible ? :D

I'd use Brakepart - never had any misfitting...
It's been like this over winter, got the windscreen late last year. they dug into the paint but it looks like the sealant has just failed to 'grab' to the screen itself in a couple of places as they...
Kris! welcome back!
180 is now back in pieces again. the recent rain revealed SIX litres of water in the carpet.
turns out my badly installed windscreen was even more badly installed than...
two more things, before I forget - the ones available on eBay UK currently don't look like the ones I bought - they were £39 for two (oh, pre-inflation days). This is the closest match I can find.
...
the headlight surrounds were still available with nissan UK recently, I ordered a pair about 6 months ago - probably new 'old stock' but were still there.
MR2 headlights definitely fit in terms of...
The food inspection centres I hadn't seen - that is utterly ridiculous, though don't have an i account so can't read the full thing - is that for food safety inspections as well as customs/excise?
...
I like it - in a silhouette skyline / silvia way. I wouldn't do it to my car but I enjoy the fact it's been done (and as well as it has been) but also that people are still making stuff inspired by...
something something something gluing themselves to roads something something.
that's the best devil's advocate argument I can come up with :D
the only other thing I can suggest - can none of the Japanese auction importers bring one over in a container?
that was the source for my two drivers doors - don't ask for why I ended up with two....
that's a bloody shame, Pete.
I'm no use for spares for this one, I've got two spare driver side doors but no passenger side :| they've been pretty hard to get hold of in decent shape
looking good :)
quick update.
Todo list -
rust repair on the driver side wing at the bottom section & paint white. (done)
paint the front bumper white (done)
fix arch liners (not done)
make some new...
I'd bear in mind the ones that can be body coloured are the rubbery drying ones - once you've splashed a wax everywhere to try and give it every chance of surviving, I'm not sure the colour will be...
I'm not sure if the prices will last - they've not quite got to the 'unicorn' self sustaining ridiculous prices of some of the other iconic JDM cars.
I'm not selling regardless but be interesting...
they've not had multiple crank girdles to pick from or anything like that? if it's the matched girdle to the block - I don't know if it can even be fitted wrong.
I did have an issue on my RB with...
only once I dropped it for doing other work, annoyingly :|
it had some failure of the mastic coat and then the electrox hadn't adhered - it had been prepped as well. I think some of the problem...
Bonjour everyone!
Progress. Fuel tank has been reconditioned. Again. I've fallen out of love with 2 pack epoxy mastic and / or Bilt Hamber electrox. epoxy mastic failed but in a poor quality way...
I've just realised from the other thread you've got HICAS, so must be a 180.
John Bennett scanned the 180 service manuals including some of the kouki updates, so worth scanning around for them.
...
have you looked at the very bottom of the 'standard' FSM ? the one I've got has connector numbers, at least.
Since this thread has been resurrected.. :D I spotted this one..
You know you have an S13 when you crashed it a little in 2016 and you've been saying for 2 years it's 'nearly done' but hasn't...
