Spot on mate I live by the sea and its been fine. Touch wood. Mega piece of mind.
Here was mine 2011. Certainly would do things differently now. I would have zinc plated all bolts and knuckles. And not used DW bushes!
...
That 458 incident happened literally round the corner from my house!!! It was a total mess man. Bad times.
Beautiful.
Cool man thanks for that! Thought as much. When you chopped out un needed stuff did you go right back to fuse box and just rid of it completely?
Thought as much, did you just solder and sleeve the extensions or go with actual connectors? Mine is out and ready to be cut but just getting ideas from others. You got a clean install there!
...
was there much cutting and extending on the wiring loom dude when you relocated it?
Mine failed MOT on rust Dec 2010 or drivers sill (rear), Rear subframe mounting points. That winter i dropped all the running gear off the rear and had her welded up and got everything powder coated,...

Rocker has been done!
Cams are good for wear.
I have done new turbo gaskets and hoses
Spray bars are cleaned
Got thermostat
Thats a good start i guess. Mark where is best to get the repair kits for the pump?...
fair enough on the pump! Where other than Apex is best to get OEM parts? Nissan Directly? Conceptua?
Are oil pumps something that are weak or wear on an SR?
right,
the engine is out of the car while she is away at the paint shop have the bay painted and holes welded up. While she is out i am thinking of maybe a bit of a freshen up.
I wont ever be...
How many did you end up extending? I found a couple of pic of people's boxes behind air bag which is cool. And a carbon plated setup in glove box. We shall see. Did you terminate all the ones u cut...
I am looking forward to this build. Its nice to see a grip project being done in an S Body. I too would go against the solid subframe mounts and if you go for Poly ones then go for the likes of...
good updates mate. Been a busy bee. You have any more pictures of the fuse box relocation? I've start stripping mine back to move it and worked out what needs extending...i Think! Any pictures will...
