Had another check this morning, All connections and earthing points are spot on.

I do think its the relay though, I did notice a slight humming from it before this happened...

I did already check and there was perfect continuety for the relay earthing point and fans...

Its a bit dark now but I will double check tomorrow.

Thats true. But to be honest, I wouldn't give a toss about the fuel! Its the Gaping hole in the tank that i'd be miffed about!

They have claimed on the insurance.. The excess was £150 but compare that to a brand new VW fuel tank and filler neck and labour its alot cheaper.

I think we are in for some Scary times ahead!

Not sure how bad it will affect S14 owners but the S13 tanks are very accessible.... Hell there is even a fricking drain bolt right at the back to make it even easier!!!

I agree that the stage 2 chip is squeazing as much out of the standard items as possible but I wouldn't have thought it would be dangerous...

Saying that I guess it is a Generaic chip at the end...

Why cant you run 1bar on a T28 with the standard AFM? That is what Jez created the stage 2 Chip with.... Ive been running 1bar with stock AFM, Injectors and stage 2 chip for Yonks and never had...

Backlash in the diff is when the pinion/ crown gears develop a bit of play due to wear etc.

to measure it propperly you need to remove the backplate of the diff, stick a dial gage to the casing...
