Welcome to the club Phil! Congratulations on the build, it looks ace
I’ve just signed up again  my car is very close to running now too :sxoc:
How did the car decide to take itself off the road? I hope it’s nothing too serious!
Excellent! I'm pleased for you mate  Makes all the hard work worth while. Is it much better off boost too then?
That power curve looks awesome mate! How does it drive compared to the map on the old ECU?
It looks to pull very well to the limiter, particularly considering it's a 2871
Welcome to the club :sxoc:
The back of the inlet manifold is cooled where the EGR connection is
That sounds spot on
If it starts getting booked up, I’ll stick a deposit down.
I’m keen for this. Will there be limited spaces with it being a smaller circuit?
One is visible in the above pictures, and the other connection is on the bottom half of the inlet manifold.
Sounds good. You’ll have to keep us posted bud
I'm also running Pilot Sport 4's on my daily. As Ben says, they're excellent all rounders. Very good wet and dry grip, and the sidewalls are lovely and smooth
Haha. I'm afraid not mate! I've not driven the car since rebuilding it, so I'm defninitely not getting rid of the box :p
Yeah, you're at that awkward level of power now where the life of the box...
Bloody hell! Is that how much they are now?! Luckily I bought my gearbox a few years back before they got expensive, so my conversion has only cost around me Ł6-700.
You'll be able to sort...
Very nice  I don't imagine that hangs about.
That’s handy. Does your kit replace the flange of the bell housing?
You could re-use the clutch, but would have to swap your flywheel to an S15 unit.
I came across some old pictures of the car from before the loom was removed. There used to be an electrical box in the passenger rear quarter, but I no longer have it, and don't know what it is.
...
Well it certainly looks big enough. Will be interesting to see how it performs!
That looks pretty sweet. Good effort!
What sort of power are you hoping to make?
Small update: the headlights and taillights now work as they should :)
Checked all of the connections in the A-pillars, and I’m confident they’re all correct. I had a power lead connected to the...
How have you manged to use the SR shifter? Did you weld the bottom section of the 350z shifter to the B&M?
Ah right. I used the cast iron clutch fork with the pivot bolt from the old box. Has...
I’m using a one piece prop, and modified shifter. The car isn’t running yet as I’ve got some wiring issues, but it engages all gears fine and the clutch operates correctly. Have you got an S15...
Awesome :) That's looking good mate! Give me a shout if you need any help with the 350 conversion  finally got mine sorted now!
How's the build going matey?
