I was going to replace them with ACL race ones but after reading some horror stories (all be it a few years old) I'm a bit dubious of buying...

Thanks for the replies. Checked the lever surround and its all dry and clean. Where's the filler plug on these? Just wondering if it's come loose or something.

This a common thing? Bellhousing side is dry and I had engine out a few months ago and inside it was dry too.

Is there anywhere obvious to look for the leak?

Not quite as simple in my car (kitcar) as space is at a premium. CA/SR boxes are all £200+ and high mileage so the rx8 offered a cheaper, lower mileage alternative.

Back again!

So, although I'd upgraded the car to my target of 300bhp I'd also gained a new fault - the coils were overheating causing huge misfires and eventually leaving me stranded in the middle...
